The volcano quiz
Ten questions, a score, and an explanation after each answer.
Ages 9–12 · Scratch
Opening November 2026 · 8 seats
An online academy for ages 6–18 in Morocco: eight children per group, a teacher who knows your child by name, and a real project finished every term.
Why
They know how to scroll. Nobody teaches them to build.
Watching coding videos doesn’t teach coding, the way watching matches doesn’t teach football.
AI is already in their homework.
Using an assistant without understanding the answer teaches dependence. We teach children to check it, fix it and explain it.
A report card proves nothing. A project does.
Every term ends with something that works and can be shown: a game, a website, an AI model.
Programmes
Each track runs for a single term. In the last session, your child presents the project — and keeps it.

Weekly rhythm 90 min a week · 6 children
Method
A 30-minute call with you and your child. We place them by real level, not by age.
From the first session, your child works on a project they chose. Every class adds one piece that works.
The teacher reads the code back with the child and asks them to explain their choices. That is where understanding settles in.
At the end of term the project is published, presented live to the class, then added to your child’s portfolio.
Play
The game sets the problem. The rest of the session is spent solving it, then understanding why the solution works.
Five lines of code, one of which breaks the program. The child has to find which one, without rewriting everything.
Read an error message, isolate a cause, fix it in the right place.
Ages 9–12 · Python
The child teaches a program to guess an animal using yes/no questions. They have just written a decision tree.
Conditions, decision trees, and what “learning” means for a machine.
Ages 9–12 · Scratch
They photograph three pieces of waste, train a model on them, then trick it with an object the model has never seen.
Why a model gets it wrong, and what a biased dataset is.
Ages 13–15 · Python, AI
These workshops are played live with the teacher. They are not free to roam, and that is deliberate.
Preview
Our lessons are animated videos of 6 to 8 minutes, available in French, Arabic and English.
Examples
Ten questions, a score, and an explanation after each answer.

Three examples from the projects we set. The first cohort’s work will be published here, with the families’ permission.
Safety
Teachers talk to children in the class group, never in a private message. You are in the loop.
Interview, references, signed code of conduct. Two adults are present whenever a child under 12 is online.
Every class is recorded and available to you until the term ends. Nothing happens without a record.
Hosted in Europe, no advertising, no ad trackers. We ask for a first name and a birth year, nothing more.
Pricing
No registration fee. The 60-minute trial class is free and comes with no commitment.

Questions
No. Groups are built by real level, assessed during the diagnostic call. We are used to children who have never written a line of code.
A computer — a tablet is not enough — and a decent connection. Nothing to install: the tools run in the browser.
French, with the odd explanation in Darija when that is clearer for the child. Arabic and English materials are being added.
One live session of 60 minutes, plus about 30 minutes of personal project work. We do not ask for more, and we say so upfront.
That is exactly what the trial class is for — checking the appetite before paying. After that, stopping before the third session of the term is refunded.
Bank transfer, card through a payment link, or cash at the first session. An invoice is issued for every payment.
They are with seven other children and a teacher. Sessions are recorded and you can watch them at any time.
A first name, a birth year and their progress. No photo, no address, no school name. Data is hosted in Europe and deleted on request.
Tell us your child’s age and we will offer you a free 60-minute trial slot.
We reply in French, Arabic or Darija within 24 hours. contact@nexogen-solutions.com
